Quality and Safety Oversight Committee
From its inception, UroCure has been committed to achieving excellent patient outcomes. As part of that commitment, we established a Quality and Safety Oversight Committee (QSOC)—the first of its kind in the medical device industry—comprised of leading academic physicians who monitor patient outcomes and provide guidance to UroCure’s work moving forward.
This team of physicians—representing top academic institutions nationwide, and notable in the fields of women’s urology and urogynecology—gather multiple times a year to review procedures, offer insight from their perspectives as practicing surgeons, and work with UroCure’s leadership to keep a focus on patients’ needs.”
UroCure’s QSOC team has provided input on the ArcTV sling product design and features, its package labeling, and Instructions for Use (IFU). In addition, they have helped guide our post-surgical feedback process including how we review data received from physicians and patients, and how we incorporate use of the ACQUIRE Registry.
These examples of QSOC’s involvement illustrate UroCure’s detailed approach, one that ultimately contributes to a better patient experience and positive results for those suffering from stress urinary incontinence.
